A Note on Undocumented Workers
Most legal rights described in this website protect undocumented as well as documented workers. In most cases, undocumented workers have the right to workers' compensation, safe workplaces, union membership, prompt payment of wages, and overtime pay. However, unemployment benefits and many forms of public assistance are not available to undocumented workers.
